FAQs
Access to Glenmoor
-
chevron_rightCan I advise the Gatehouse of people who visit regularly such as landscapers, relatives, maids, etc. so I don't have to call each time? Yes, this is done by listing these individuals on your “Resident Information Sheet”. To add or remove names to the list, please stop at the Gatehouse for a new form or fill out a new form here.
-
chevron_rightHow do non-resident club members enter and exit Glenmoor? Members must enter and exit by the visitor’s Brunnerdale gates with a current Glenmoor Member sticker. The other gates will only be opened by a resident with an RFID.
-
chevron_rightIf I have a guest coming to the Club must I also call the Gatehouse to allow their access? Yes.
-
chevron_rightWhat happens if I forget to advise the security gatehouse of a visitor to my home? When your guest arrives without prior notice from you the security staff will attempt to contact you to approve their admittance. If you cannot be reached the visitor will be denied entry.
RFID Tags
-
chevron_rightCan I purchase extra RFID tags for non-resident family members or friends so that they may use the side gates instead of the Brunnerdale entrance? No, RFID tags are limited to permanent residents only.
-
chevron_rightCan we return the RFID tag for credit if we move? No, they should be removed from your vehicle once you are no longer a resident. Once you are no longer a resident, the RFID tags will be deactivated.
-
chevron_rightHow do emergency vehicles enter the community? The Jackson Safety Center uses their RFID tags for quick access. With their Fire/Police/EMS identifications, personnel can gain entry at the gates. Our security staff monitors the gates live from the Gatehouse and can swiftly open them for emergency vehicles, saving valuable time.
-
chevron_rightIf I change cars can I transfer my RFID tag to my new car? No, please notify security at glenmoorhoa@teamuas.com that you have sold your vehicle so that the RFID tag can be deactivated. A replacement RFID tag can be purchased for $25.00 by filling out the RFID request form located here.
-
chevron_rightIf I don't have an RFID tag installed on my car can I still enter or exit the side gates by using the intercom system? No, without an RFID tag you must enter the Brunnerdale gate visitors side. You must also exit via the Brunnerdale gate.
-
chevron_rightWhat do I do if my RFID tag doesn't work? If you use the RFID tag at one of our gates and the gate fails to open, please contact security by email at glenmoorhoa@teamuas.com or call the guard house at 330-266-0037.
-
chevron_rightWhy do I have to show my car registration to pick up my RFID tag? The RFID tag is assigned to a specific vehicle, and we need to verify that the sticker is being applied to the correct vehicle. Additionally, we want to limit free access to our neighborhood to residents only by verifying that those obtaining tags are a permanent resident of Glenmoor.
